Hello from Scotland

Hi everyone! My name is Catriona, and I’m the Digital Learning and Development Executive at Share Learning Ltd.

We’re a training provider based in Scotland, and we use Vyond to create videos for our online learning courses. More recently, we’ve also started using Vyond videos for some marketing content too.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone better and hopefully sharing ideas, tips, and support with the community. We’ve been using Vyond for over a year now, and one of the things we enjoy most is the flexibility — we can create videos from scratch in Vyond or upload scenes we’ve created elsewhere, then use Vyond to enhance them with effects and animation.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve run into recently was with an AI-generated Vyond video. I needed to resize the main character so he would fit properly into a seat I had placed him in, but once I made the change, the voice no longer matched. After updating the voice, the lip-syncing was then out of sync too, so I had to adjust that as well — and the whole process ended up taking much longer than expected!

It would be great if there was a way to update a character’s size, voice, and other settings on one slide and have those changes automatically apply across the entire video. If anyone knows a workaround or has tips for doing this more efficiently, I’d love to hear them 😊
