Animated IT Lessons

At Basin Electric, we’re in the middle of a huge IT transformation implementing a new, ERP solution, ITSM platform, and integrated AI. I’ve been using Vyond to create an animated series of mini-lessons to help employees learn about new tools and processes…I don’t feel like they’re quite short enough to call them microlearning, but they’re all about 2 minutes or less. The characters are based on real employees that employees would know. The building I used for the title screen is listed in the Props as a hospital, but when I covered the cross with our signage, it looks eerily like our HDQ building! The Ultra High Quality text-to-voice instead of recording my own tracks has been a huge time-saver! Here’s an example of an episode of the series that has been part of our AI Awareness Campaign.
