How to prevent speech-to-text audio from fading at the end?

I’m generating speech-to-text using the AI tool to generate an audio-only file. The speech sounds great, but it fades away on the last word. Is there a way to stop it from fading? I don’t see a way to edit the audio other than changing the words.
