Creating your own templates

If you create your own scene with text and animation and you want to save it as a template to use when you’re making a video why does it not show up in “templates” when you go to select the one you want to start making a new video with? I know it’s in my collections and library once you’re in the studio but I want to start off a new project with my templates.
