Exploring voice cloning and creating a photorealistic 3D persona: Tips and pitfalls

I’m keen to explore cloning my voice and potentially also create a photrealistic 3D persona using a series of images of a (willing and aware of the legal issues) team member.

Is this something others have done and if so, any tips, tricks or pitfalls to look out for?
