Exploring the impact of AI avatars and mixed media in L&D videos
I’m curious what other L&D and enablement professionals are seeing as AI-generated video becomes more common.
AI avatars are becoming incredibly realistic and make it easier to create polished, presenter-led videos. They can be a great option for many types of content. At the same time, animation, B-roll, graphics, scenarios, and other visuals can help explain ideas and keep viewers engaged.
I’m also curious if increasingly realistic avatars are changing how you use them. Do they help your audience connect with the message? How important are the surrounding visuals and storytelling?
I’d love to hear what’s working for you and whether you typically choose one style or combine several.
When the goal is learning, retention, or behavior change, which video approach do you prefer?

It depends on the use-case (if you select this one, tell me more!)
