Hi Everybody! My name is Shahrzade and I’m GoAnimate’s newest junior video producer. Today actually marks my one-month anniversary working here, and I love it! Soon after I arrived, I made an “About Me” video to share with my coworkers. It was such a great icebreaker that I thought, “why not introduce myself to GoAnimate’s community too?”! Here’s my video:  Since I got some great questions from the team about how I achieved some of the effects in the video, I wanted to share my answers with you as well. GoAnimate + Adobe Premiere Pro Although I could tell most of my story with GoAnimate, there were a couple parts that ...

I think any person that has a creative job, ends up hording a bunch of bookmarks on their toolbar. ;) I know I am certainly guilty of this. I thought that I would share a few of the bookmarks I have, and help contribute to your horde of bookmarks. *insert evil laugh*  Enjoy!   100 Brilliant Color Combinations – This is a great website that shows different color combinations. I like this one in particular because each color combination has a color photo that goes with the combination. It really helps to give you a visual idea of what the colors will look like together on the screen.   https://www.canva.com/learn/100-color-combinations/    ColorHexa ...

Hi GoAnimate Community! My name is Jane and I am the Marketing and Events Specialist here at GoAnimate. You might have met me at a few trade shows or even seen me online when I shared a few of my favorite timesaving tips. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out here:   As we all know, GoAnimate provides us many templates to choose from. But, there are times when I create my own scene from scratch and want to save it to use again, which is why the “Save as Starter” is great to use to create my own template! A GoTeam Subscription follow-up: If you and your team are creating multiple micro-learning courses or like a template someone ...

Greetings everyone! I posted these videos in my introduction, but thought I would share them here as well. These are two videos I created when I was learning GoAnimate. Sometimes you just got to get in there and see what you can do. I did a little bit of story boarding to give me an idea of what I wanted to explain. For the most part, I just jumped in and see what I could create. Enjoy! Greetings everyone! I wanted to share a blog about another way you can use GoAnimate. I use GoAnimate a lot to create graphics! For our learning modules, we use Lectora to create the learning activities and overall module. To keep consistency in our learning activities, I use GoAnimate for graphics and to make shorter 15-30 second videos. Below are the steps I take when using GoAnimate to create graphics. I have a video I use called blank screens. I use this to create single scenes with whatever graphic I need. I then take a screenshot of the graphic with a solid color background. In the screenshot below, I used a blue background to better outline the ...

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share a short course I put together called Animated Scenario-Based eLearning Design . I used myself as a GoAnimate character to teach the entire course. I've also used this approach in some college courses I teach online. Here's a link to the course - http://www.schwindtec.com/animated_scenario_based_elearning_design/index.html

I've been creating videos for over half of my life and working professionally for just over 8 years now. Here's the first video I made with GoAnimate, I hope you enjoy!   Some of you may have questions about how I made parts of this video, or perhaps you're just curious to hear about some cool techniques... If so, read on! Importance of Great Audio The very first thing my favorite instructor in film school taught me was “a good video with bad audio, is a bad video.” ...
